2017 OFFISHALL Vancouver-Howe Sound-Sechelt Reports Thread

Thanks tips...just sayin that I miss the chatter.

Used to be some nuggets which would hit the airwaves here and there. :)

Sitting right now behind breaker on north arm. Blowing real good for my 16fter. Couple of us parked. Supposed to die down soon

Talked to a buddy at sandheads. Went 3-5 decent springs. Said bite turned on at 5 30 for an hour.
Heading out first thing tomorrow. Hope to find a morning bite
Ill be out there at 6:30 too

Ended up hooking 6 decent fish at Sandheads from 3:00-6pm. 4 spat the hook like seasoned vets, 2 in the box. 1 high twenties, 1 mid teens. Both reds which was nice.

All in 150' water, chovies, shallow. Beautiful night for a troll.

First solo mission saltwater fishing from 4-8 and managed a mid teens red by the Bell at 5:30 on the flood. Used some advice picked up here to keep turning on the fish to keep it away from the other rod and after a couple decent runs it laid over on its side at the boat and floated right into the net. Didn't have any bait brined, but the no bananas skinny g pulled through once again. Rest of the night was weeds and shakers. Going out tomorrow first thing and hitting up the mouth of the Fraser.

First trip out local yesterday, started at the bell and it was pretty choppy. Hooked/landed 2 mid teen springs and released one fat sockeye. Lots of small springs and a wild coho all released quickly. Bite turned on around 2. Moved over to north arm and a couple small springs. Did see a couple landed. Beauty day on the water.
