2016 Powell River Reports

Fished Mace Point on Savary this afternoon. Super nice day for once. Caught a few undersized and ended up with a hatchery coho. Fished 200' with rigger at 140'. Green spoons and flashers were the trick.

Went out yesterday afternoon for the 5 tide. Tried Coho and Backside pretty slow a few undersize ran plugs not a lot of bait around, but so nice to get out. I have been skunked the last few times out so for me the fishing in September was pretty slow. I remember in years past there was always talk about the Mill and Lang in September but seems pretty quite. Hopefully the winter brings some fun fishing!
