200 Honda life

I have 1400 hours on a 2002/200hp Honda. Never used hard and serviced every year. What kind of life should I expect to get?

thousands really, adjust valves, replace belt, high pressure fuel filter, oils and lubes... i have seen some commercial uses with 6k hours.

The more you use them the better. Sitting around is as bad as poor maintenance. 6-8k in commercial applications which means they just run the hell out of them for the most part.

^^This! I'd rather buy an outboard with 100's of hours on it,and ran regularly,than a motor with 100 hrs. on it that's
been sitting in someones carport on a stand for 5 years without being even started.They're made to be run,plain and
simple!
