05 yam t8 hydraulic lift

Mine has quit working ,motor runs no lift. checked fluid ok. If I cycle switch it lifts a bit each time. Ideas please. Have taken off of motor going to take apart??Can't find much info on the net. any help greatly appreciated,, J R.

Can you manually lift it up? May be a bad check valve?

make sure the manual release is tight before doing anything. you say the motor runs but no lift action, fluid levels are check in the full up position. if the release is tight back it of and manually raise and lower the engine a few times. then tighten it up and try the hydro's

Just found the release screw after I took the unit off .Will try on the bench and see what happens. Thanks
