    WTD: Pair of manual downriggers

I have an extra pair of scotties with braid on them. I’d trade them for a 30” stainless steel crab trap, just lost mine. Located on Gabriola though.

    All Things COVID-19

How does this chart prove your point? Covid restrictions basically eliminated influenza deaths in 2020, and despite all the hard work by everyone to keep people from dying there are still the same number of deaths. Lumber Prices

I called about Baltic Birch plywood today. None available, been out of stock for 2 months apparently. Almost scared to find out the price when it eventually comes in.

    All Things COVID-19

All the skeptics are always going on about the Covid death rate. Lots of people end up with ongoing symptoms or lung damage. Who wants that? Also, at this point why freak out over the Astra Zeneca vaccine? Seems to make sense to proceed with caution even with pretty low rates of adverse...

    All Things COVID-19

Add to all that the fallout created by health care workers getting sick. Most people I’ve heard promoting herd immunity etc are completely clueless about the fact that as infection rates climb in the general population so does the risk of those who care for us getting infected.

    In river netting pics

Regarding snarky comments about FN "traditional methods". While FNs had nets they were very time consuming to make. They didn't use gill nets. Traditional methods were mostly traps, weirs, dip nets and spears. Traps and weirs were mostly outlawed once the Federal government began to regulate...
