Thanks to Campbell River RCMP, local pawn shop, and Scotty downrigger registration program aiding in recovering my stolen riggers. Strongly advise you register riggers with scotty. Also anyone with missing riggers contact CR police if you have serial #s they have about 20 in their office.

garmin gps map 182 has started dropping satellite connection. unplugging, rebooting, can get signal back but a bit frustrating. any one else with this model or similar problem.

How many hrs. do you have on your ob? Mine is a 2005-225hp. has 1500 hrs. Would think 2500-3000 should not be unreasonable.

weed gets hung on " double- taped braid rigger stops" and slides down braid, rigger won't shut off. any solutions?

Any update on the high speed riggers. Have heard of battery draining issues, for single battery boats. Larger boats, dual batteries, any issues? Can you inline a third battery, for riggers only?

installed cylinder seal kit. purged air. 2 person job. not a complicated procedure. maybe can answer some queries if anyone in the same situation. $110. for kit.

Bit of seapage coming out steering column. O ring kit approx. $75. Was thinking taking it apart, gauging rings and replace. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Would appreciate any info. or sites re: battling outboard motor company for manufacture defect that showed up shortly after warranty period expired. Case in point, engine block is porous and completely showered outside of motor with salt and filled inside with saltwater completely destroying...
