What's a proper head look like? One in main cabin that takes up ton of space with 4 walls and windows blocking the view from the rear helm? Sitting in the cabin smelling crap and looking at the toilet? Or tucked away under the bed? I know what I prefer on a fishing boat!

Lots of rivers on the central coast have spring run steelhead. Most rivers are glacial melt off, creamy green water and t-shirts. Might wanna poke ur nose up knight or kingcome inlet for a look!!

I used it on my new aluminum last summer. The stuff is amazing, boat still looks new without any of the white pitting marks showing up. I put two coats on before it touched the salt, boat sat in water most of summer. I will be putting one or two more coats on this spring, best to apply when...
I had a look at the site, mine is the one with the 380 torsion base with the pacifica seat. It adjusts up and down a bit and moves fwd and back. Seat is great in the big stuff on the way out to the bank. I'm nowhere near the max weight for it though so I can't comment on bottoming it out...
Zero issue with pull start on a pump. If your using it on a zodiac and planning on doing island rivers you want your butt end as light as possible, remember your backing down the big stuff and want to avoid digging in. Lighter the better!
A 30 hp 2 stroke yamy will push a 14 foot zodiac real good. Its about 20 hp at the pump, lots to move you around. U should be able to find a pump to fit that online somewhere. There not cheap but might be a used one sitting around somewhere. A 60/40 on that aluminum would be real nice, saw...
Yes the argument of loosing the great genetic wild strain on the Cowichan was lost when the hatchery program was introduced years ago. Do you not think those hatchery raised fish spawned with "wild" fish and have produced fish and so on and so on...To call the Cowichan steelhead a pure wild...
Got the same pic from our mutual buddy. He works with a Native fellow in Duncan and this fellows Brother in-law is one of the Native guys fishing and killing in the Bible Camp area over the past while. Maybe he has a permit maybe not. Fact is there are wild steelhead being caught and killed...
Any of those systems will work great, I have the last one on my boat. Using the ez pull system is a must, makes pulling the anchor off bottom a piece of cake. You don't need to order the hyde one you can make the system yourself at a local hardware store.
Nice to see your still curious Dave. If you look at the regs it says " 10 hp on parts". What " parts" are they referring to? Are there signs properly posted on these parts? Ive been up and down the stamp for years and not sure where these " parts" are. This is a transport Canada issue...
