One wheel seizes driving forward...uphill

Thanks for all the options. I think that I will convert to electric drums at the end of the season. Install went well and took the time to repack/replace the bearings on the other 3 tires at the same time.

As an aside, what are people's views on bearing buddies versus a sealed cap? I had a complete rim and tire replaced last year and the tire store was adamant that a sealed unit (no bearing buddy) was the way to go.

I prefer bearing buddies, what you really need are double lip seals and speedy sleeves. The speedy sleeves save the seals from wearing.

X2!!! Speedy seals are a must! Gives the seal a nice smooth stainless surface to ride on instead of a rusty spindle

I have yet to see a seal go if you use the speedy sleeves, unless some dumb butt pumps the crap out of it with the grease gun. Even then most times the bearing is still good if caught in time.
