Found them

hmmmm somebody care to share the receipt
2 lbs prawns, blanche with boiling water in large pot
Add 1/8 cup dried cilantro, oregano, coriander and 3T pickling spice and 1T salt
Cover and simmer 3-5 min
Drain and rinse prawns under cold water
Layer prawns in shallow baking dish with 2 cups sliced onions and a few bay leaves
Combine, and pour over prawns, the following:
3/4 cups white vinegar
3 T capers with juice
2 1/2t celery seed
1 1/2t salt
6 or so drops tobasco
Juice of 2 lemons

Cover and chill 24-48 hours, occasionally spooning liquid back over prawns

Serve with sliced baguette and chilled white wine. Yum.
