Tuff Coat or other products to cover worn out rubbe boat deck

The deck on my boat is a fairly thin sheet of rubberized material over marine plywood. It is worn out and has a few holes in it. I was wondering if any of the members have made a repair similar to this using Tuff Coat Anti Skid marine paint of similar products.

Removing the floor would be a very difficult task.

Thanks,

Typically paint manufactures will only reccomend covering there own products or fully removing the previous layer before top coating. They cannot guarantee adhesion to an unknown substrate. Your best bet is to find out what it is that' on there and top coat with the same or completely sand off the coating and start over.

i bought rubber mats from costco they are industrial strength, black, 6x7ft...secured them to floor of my boat...best thing i could have done
