Went with Costco hero 5 black.
Hero 6 does look better but price was good on 5 and I was at Costco anyways.

Now the learning begins.

Right away I need more helmet mounts and accessory mounts. I have 2 helmets to mount and would like mounts for my kids too so they can use.

So anyone have suggestions for cheap accessories?
Amazon packages any good?
These look cheapest and easiest.

Let me know how you like that one Graham. I am looking at getting one as well.

Played around with the new Gopro a bit this weekend.
Taking video and photos is easy.
The voice command works well but sometimes you are filming when you think you are not.

Now figuring out all the settings will be the challenge.
I started with 1080 res first day and everything worked well.
You can film in 7.2 or 4K but when I did this on second day the video did not work well on my PC. Worked fine on my phone app.

What is the best program for editing film?
I used the Gopro Quik as suggested by Gopro but still figuring out.

Graham. I downloaded PowerDirector...it was about $50 online. It took a couple days to learn how to use it. I have version 11 and used it back in 2012 for the 2 vids I have on Youtube.
