Anyone have a mr.heater portable propane heater they want to sell? Either the big buddy or little. Let me know what you have thanks.

Buddy heater work pretty good but the motion detector kill
is a pain. any slight movement will shut it off.
I went with a heater unit on a 10lb tank which gives much more heat
and is around the same price. (maybe cheaper)

I have a little buddy heater on my boat and it works great. I only have it on when trolling so the auto shut off is not an issue. The small one pound cylinders are $7-8 bucks each so I bought a small 5 pound tank and an adapter hose and it costs me six bucks to fill it................BRS

No matter of the brand of propane heater any purchased, make sure it is CSA certified, otherwise any insurance claims caused by the heater could be denied - regardless if the heater is used in a boat, home garage, shed and so on.

The adapters are also available on Amazon for a few dollars more and free shipping if you have Prime.

Here is the adapter I purchased.

I went with the one below because I liked the big plastic knob, the ones you showed from amazon are under $8 with shipping on Ebay.

Thanks.

I purchased mine from Amazon so that I did not have to wait weeks for a shipment from Hong Kong or China. Also in general, Amazon return policies are much easier when needed, so cost savings are only part of any purchase decision factor for me.

Edit. I checked my Amazon order and see that I only paid $10.59 for the adapter earlier this year.

I fill my 1 pound bottles from a 20 tank. You get them about 70 % full. I have 10 bottles that I fill and keep 2-3 on the boat. After a year of refiling I take them up to Harland Landfill with my recycling and exchange them all for 10 new looking ones that people have tossed. The last time I got 4 full ones from the crate that holds all the used ones.

assuming there's enough fresh air flow no fear of CO emissions ?
are these Little Buddy heater's considered the "ideal burn" presenting no danger ?
I'm not sure so I'm asking , thought these would be a great fit for those chilly days !!

I leave the cabin door open and a side window slightly open. I also have a carbon monoxide detector located in v berth area. I only use the heater to keep guests warm while fishing.

there is a little schrader valve on the 1 lb tanks, pull on the stem with a pair of needle nose pliers to vent gas to get more room for the liquid propane... be careful though, sometimes they leak if you bend the stem
