Does any one have any experience with this reel? PEETZ claims they've gotten rid of the "knucklebuster effect"---I have no idea what that means----the spool and the knobs attached to the spool either spin when a fish peels line or they don't

Can anyone add some details regarding how this reel performs?

Well, they actually say the one-way drag "virtually eliminates the knuckle buster effect". However, keep in mind real salmon fishermen have scarred knuckles.
