he isn't far off. $3500 is mid 80's motor with an old hull. If hull is good and floors are not rotten its not that bad.

For a favoured hull in apparently good condition it seems fair. Lease return 4 stroke and you'd have a nice package for a very fair price. Don't get much for $3k these days.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... all depends on condition. to me its not worth much gonna be plenty of work and $$$$$ to make that boat ocean ready and reliable power .. just my opinion.. boats 40 years old.. power is 30 years old

i prefer to bump than bash... if its in decent running shape.. 2k easy..
