Saltwater tackle shops around seattle

I am heading down to Seattle later this week for a few days and was wondering where some other forum members like to shop for salt water tackle down there. I have hit a couple of places down there that are not to bad, but alway's looking for something better. I am staying in Bellevue, the wife has a conference there and i am a tag along with a bunch of time to kill so don't mind a bit of driving. I am not really looking for anything specific, but you never know what kind of impulse i may have. Pretty much looking for salt water stuff, maybe something that ya can't find up here to often. I have googled a bit and there seems to be a bunch down there, seems like a lot of shops specializing in fresh water stuff. Thanks, guy's

Outdoor emporium, very close to Safeco Field along rail tracks. Been in several times, lots of stuff and some good deals. There is a fairly new Cabelas out near the Berlington outlet mall. Just off the freeway, can't miss it. Those two are large and easy to find. Enjoy ur trip.

The place that I spend the most money at is Outdoor Emporium in downtown Seattle (near the baseball stadium). They have a pretty good selection of tackle and hunting gear. For smaller shops with more diversity in certain types of stuff (e.g. divers or hootchies), I go to Ted's sporting goods in Lynnwood or to John's Sporting Goods in Everett.

Awesome guy's , i have not checked out that Outdoor Emporium, i will put it on my list for sure. i have been to Ted's and yes it's a good shop also and i will venture up to Everettt to John's Sporting goods. Thank's for the quick replies!!

ted's in Lynnwood; seattle marine at fishermans terminal; john's is also a good recommendation. I never shop the big box stores.

LFS Marine is about 15 minutes off I5 in the bellingham harbour. Great hardware and gear store...not a lot of tackle but what they have is quite reasonably priced. They carry the full Grundens line of gear among many other quality sport and commercial gear.

Great store. Don't forget to go to the Web Locker Restaurant for their famous clam chowder while your there;):p.

Don't forget Cabela's
They have a new store in Tulalip - just north of Marysville, in addition to the one down by Olympia.
Google for directions, but I expect it's visible from the I-5.
Don't know their stocking levels for saltwater gear, but it is definitely a 'candy store'.
Worth a visit.

X2 on Holiday and on the way down check out Daves in Lynden both great stops.
For me Cabellas is big and glitzy but I never seem to buy anything, found the odd deal in the bargain cave but thats about it.

Agree x 3 with Spring time and SR SQ --holiday Sports in Burlington. Cabelas waste of time as it's more lake oriented. Saltwater hands down and better then Johns for the North End.
