Anybody tried the rapala x-rap?

I saw a couple weeks ago, mark on his westcoast sporting journal episode was fishing the purple ghost versions of those rapala suspended x-rap lures.

They seemed to produce some decent sized coho up on top, the fish looked like they were just hammering them.

Has anybody tried em out in the vancouver area chuck?

So does tin foil wrapped around a hook Coho will eat anything.

My own experience is that most Rapalas (there are so many models now) don't appeal to Salmon much that tight wiggle isn't what turns them on-articulated models have produced in the past under the right conditions I prefer the Rebel models-lose the trebles whatever you do.

Guys we're using them off the mouth of the Columbia this past summer. Heard they were successful but not sure about the details. My information came from WDFW enforcement staff.
