So lets hear your guys' favourite setup for trolling for springs. Whats consistently consistant for you and where do you fish?

Me: The original-Green Flasher and Glow-Regular or Glow-Needlefish Hootchie. I fish Kyuquot Sound and Tofino. Although last year purple haze hootchies were killer at Kyuquot.

Cut plug, chovie, tomic plug (big) and apex.Mostly the west coast or french creek.I use almost always a regular green flasher if I use one?.As you can tell my lure choice does not really need a flasher or I put it off the ball.

around bamfield my favorite setup would have to be a purple/gold flasher, 5 foot leader, and anchovy with a green glow head.

anchovie on different heads behind a red hotspot or green flasher. Winter springs I use coyote spoons or a green and white hootchie.

Do you find a big difference between using anchovies vs. herring? Where do they get the anchovies from that they sell for bait?

I used to fish with bait a lot, but it seemed like I was fighting off garbage fish all the time. I eventually just went to hoochies and then switched to jigging with zzzingers and buzz bombs. I'm going to get back into trolling again this summer though since jigging let me down last year.
