Yup Hamley point has produced a nice leading fish in the Derby. A 27 pound spring was hooked around hamley this morning. Lots of boats working the back side of Sydney Island ALL day. Few boats in the channel and the powder warf. Also quite a few boats fishing off Coal Island. My guess is the 27 will hold and win the derby. First prize $10,000 and the word is 7,000 in side bets. Not bad for a weekend of suntanning!!
