Hey all,
I am lead to believe that there is a boat launch at Jordan River. I've obviously never used it. Can anyone provide a description of it. Is it well protected from the wind/waves -- is there a place to tie up while you park the car or is it more primitive -- or is it still there?

I think it's on the downstream east side of the bridge . I've never used it .Looks like just a gravel section , I would be worried about water depth and a high enough tide to get out .

I have never launched there, but my dad says you can launch on the bank of the river by the campground.IT IS NOT protected, and there is no place to tie up.There maybe somewhere else but I don't know.Myself, I would not launch my boat there, maybe a small aluminum,it is very shallow going out.DAN

I have launched over the gravel into the river just downstream from the bridge at the campsite...you need high water,4x4,and a winch or second vehicle as you are likely to get stuck. Flat water on the bar also required for going in and out.
