I bought one last week.Good deal but you get what you pay for!Used the net for the first time on saturday and noticed that the butt end fell off! Still cant find it!Still lands fish just fine but I would check both ends of the handle to make sure they are on there tight.

Yeah the [u]first</u> thing a person should do with one of those is glue the butt cap on, the other end cap too.

The SeaKing net is an awesome net [also known as a REDL net] - and that sounds like a really good deal...your posts have created some confussion for me.

Scotty nets are known as;
No. 206 - 30" solid hoop, 4 foot handle
No. 207 - 30" solid hoop, 6 foot handle

Saw a neat tip on another fishing forum. If the buts already off your net, stuff it full of foam packing pellets for bouyancy. Another way is, remove the bottom cap from the handle of your net and fill it with expandable spray foam. After it has cured, replace the cap and it should now float. That way you may not have to buy another net for a while.
