Hey Budha, ya things are pretty quiet around here. I've been laid up with that flu like never before. Today is the first day I actually feel somewhat human again. As for fishing myself and the slabslayer have been doin quite well on the ole Stamp as of late. Lots o fresh ones movin in. One concern is the amount of guy's out this early in the season. Seen alot of newbies around carting bags of roe as if that was all there was to use. Shame Shame. They could at least put it in a roe bag, then again by the looks of how they present it that would probably be to much of a challenge. Gotta fly email me about a future trip if your in. Word has it Catfish is living just minutes from the river. Good place to bed down. the dirtdog

Yeah, busy as of late. Truck down for a few, then fishin' of course. Stamp not too bad, but agree strongly with DirtDog, where are all these folks coming from??? Hopefully the ferry thing will slow a few of them off! BTW, some of the bad actors have put Butch on the warpath, best to be checkin' in, as the tow truck stands ready! Just a heads-up.
Between that and seasoned activities ;) not spending as much time in front of the machine these days.

yo mama, what up! good to hear from you sorry i did not call you back about the stamp this week I was way too busy. I managed to hit the stamp yesterday and pounded it all day with only one wint to the beach and three summers. It has seemed to have slowed a little from the last couple of weeks of really good fishing. Also the river is super busy in the good sections of the river and roe seems to be rampant, it's too bad cause the ol worm is producing just as well. Well shoot me a line a next week, monday sounds good for some pounding.

Do you remember back to the beginning of the forum where there was multiple posts every hour? It was crazy. And there were some members worth a few good laughs such as Kidda. It was some guy who was obviously pretending to sound like a kid making all these unbelievable posts <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>. I wonder what ever happened to all those guys like March Brown, Inferno545 etc. as well?

Yo Mama, hoping this message gets to you. Another question on the Bare Breathable chest waders that you advised me about. Took a look at some Bare waders today, however the shop only has the neophrene ones. They may get some in late February, however not sure what will come in. I could request they bring in a specific product and as such, could you tell me the name of the set you have; might it be Cutthroat or Blackwater? Appreciate any info. They neophrene too hot and sweaty, although am sure it would be fine in the winter and if I was sitting in tube all day,...which I will not be. Thanks again

Yo Mama, as I think about these waders, the Cutthroat may be the way to go, eventhough at this point I have not seen a pair. Having tried on a couple of pairs of pricey neophrene waders, they were too warm and I didn't like the feel. As I will be primarily using waders in the spring, summer and fall, they may fit the bill. If I go out in winter, presume I can add more layers before putting on the waders, should work don't you think? Again, I will probably use these waders 5 to 10 times per year; my preference in fishing still is getting into remote lakes and using my boat. The key to me is that waders are not going to leak/rip easily or within a year or so, and that they are versatile enough to use in different circumstances. There have been occasions where I am fishing a lake and would prefer to get out of the boat say on the other side of the lake and work an area/reeds on foot. Waders would be very helpful. Thanks again.

Hey, March Brown is still alive and kicking. He was up at my place on the Skeena this summer, and taught me quite a few tricks. I myself have forgotten about this board. Will have to post more here.

Hey Totally tyee how are things? All the snow and cold getting to you yet?
Been up in the snow for the past while, some nice fish through the ice and hoping to get into some monsters in the next week or two. Going to look over some goat country too. Should be good as long as we arn't working too much.
I'll catch up with you.
Cheers, Chromer
Should be home in March to hit the banks.
