Hello,

Right now I have a 16' aluminum bowrider, 120 evenrude
The engine is too big for the so it’s weighed down at the back.
All the rivets are coming out and it leaks.
I have had my eye on this 17-18' Kencraft with a hard top. No marks or scraps on the hall, it looks pretty good. I'm going to check the transom tomorrow.
Is there anything I should look for it’s an older boat but looks good.
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks Chris.

Kencraft was the precursor to the K&C boats so that is a fairly old hull, the fiberglassing was good back then so there you are OK , the only weakness that those boats had was the transom , auger it and check the intergrity of the wood sandwich on that craft , its a fairly heavy hull that will cut a chop OK and does not tend to pound too much.

It sounds somewhat similar to my boat. I would check on the indside of the bow for rotting of the wood and rusting of the screws. Thats the only real problem with my K&C
