The City of Langford has it listed as part of Langford Days on July 21. The only thing it mentions though is that the winner is announced at 4pm. Maybe there are details still forthcoming, but maybe someone needs to pry some info out of City Hall...

I didn't know until we were on the water and the lake was full of boats. Log house pub has annual fishing derby every year the weekend after father's day.

I said I had not seen or heard anything but a couple people said it is well advertised.

Any other derbies coming up?
