Worst case it could be run like a Sturgeon Derby. A couple Judge boats are on hand to measure and photograph large fish before their release. The big ones take enough time that a radio call can be made and the boat is ready for the landing.

A thought!

Im not totally sure but I dont think you can even target hali if they are closed? Either or lets keep the fingers crossed.

No pics, I couldn't get down there on Sunday. I was busy being garden slave for my wife's birthday/birthweek/month ... was lucky to get a day parole on Sat at least. ;-)

PS a photo now uploaded! That's a $4k fish right there

Despite the fact that there were only 120 tickets sold everybody had some degree of fun and even us on land had a band playing for our entertainment The children had crafts to do and coloring contests as well as a casting contest and a little golfing on Saturday About $6600 was raised $1000 was donated to the food bank as well as about 120 lbs of dressed hali and the remainder went to Charters Creeks Interpretive Centre So all in all it was success Thanks to all that helped make it that way
