I grew up in qualicum and have fished all my life. I have a family(3kids) now and fishing time is rare. I used to catch some fish in horn lake as a kid, and have heard guys talk of healthy sized cutties caught on plugs and apex by the river mouth. Anybody got any real advice on this? I've tried a couple of times with no luck. I have boat, down riggers, depth sounder and years of fish caught-but still can't connect.
