Ok so I almost have my new used yammy mounted. Before I take it out I'm thinking top and bottom oil change and new oil filter. Is there anything else that I should be doing to give it a fresh start? Is there any point to changing the fuel filter?
Cheers

Remove the prop to check for fishing line and grease the splines.

Youve probably already done this, but make sure you have the correct pitch prop for your application.

Water pump?
If it has been in storage for awhile, you might want to check that? :)
Oh, forgot... you have internal engine zincs!!!!
Make sure you check them!!!!!!
Plugs, lower oil change, check filters replace zincs if there down or wire brush them with a SS brush nothing else if you can and its sitting in water spray with anti foul(clear for aluminum) on the base mount makes clean up sooooo much easier.
Good luck Wolf
