Hello, I am new to the forumn and would like to ask if any members have a favorite recipe for smoking sturgeon? I have smoked plenty of salmon in the past but have not had the opportunity until now to smoke sturgeon...

Sturgeon here is 100% C&R so this is the wrong place to ask about eating one.

Rodbender...maybe he never caught it HERE. Answer his question, and then decide if you rightious enough to decide wether he can keep or not. Thats the prob as I see it, with these forums. i have been on, and off for about 2 years. I ask a question, and sometimes is answered w/ a reply that shows a lot of inteligence, and other times, no thought to the answer at all. Just some one whom wants to make them selves heard. best thing that ever happened to this site, is "WOLF". Gives great reports and advice, etc, and even at that, some are not quick enough to get it..Anyways, just my humble opinion.

<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle> where did you get the sturgeon from primrib did you catch it in the fraser.I would think you would smoke it the same as a salmon.I here there eggs are good eating.
