Merc Mechanic

I have an older model Merc 50 that is due for some routine tune up/maintenance and was wondering if anyone new of a good "backyard" mechanic in Greater Victoria that could help me.

I am tired of the Merc dealers in town as they somehow make things worse as a result of their so called tune up and that is after, of course, they charge an arm and a leg.
